I try and eat healthily–really! I don’t generally keep cookies, chocolate, or ice-cream in my apartment, and that’s usually an okay thing. (Mom, I hope you’re reading this!) Sometimes though, disaster strikes and I just have to have a delicious dessert right. now.
Okay, I confess, this happens like every other week, and this is ALWAYS my go-to solution. Friends, straight from the blog that got me started cooking, I present this 3-minute Brownie for One.
I’m being serious, by the way. This brownie is so easy to make that I have actually packed the ingredients up and made it during a 10 minute break at work with LOTS of time to spare.
I’ve made this brownie with nutella, peanut butter, jam, Jalepeno Strawberry Jelly, and more. It’s basically the best thing I’ve ever learned how to do.
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 Tbsp Nutella
- Mix together the dry ingredients in a ramekin or a mug.
- Stir in the milk and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Push a tablespoon of Nutella into the center of the batter. You want it mostly covered by the batter!
- Microwave for 1 minute
Poco a poco…
Mix together the dry ingredients.
Stir in the wet ingredients and then submerge a tablespoon of Nutella in the center.
Microwave on high for a minute…
And top with whatever you want! It’s fine by itself, but I love putting ice cream, berries, whip cream, syrup, etc on top!
By the time you make this a few times, I guarantee you that you can have a brownie by the time this song is over.
